2024.5.7 (Day 1)

1 I am truly grateful to have my son. The reason is that he is my reason for living. I genuinely wish for his happiness and support him with all my heart.

2 I am truly grateful to have my daughter. The season is that she teaches me how wonderful the world is. I support her growing up freely and happily, and I look forward to watching her thrive.

3 I am truly grateful to have my mother. The reason is that she always supports me.

4 I am truly grateful to have my father. The reason is that he always supports me.

5 I am truly grateful to my ex-husband. The reason is that he provides the money so that our children can get an education.

6 I am truly grateful to my ex-husband’s current wife. The reason is that she is the person he loves. I am grateful to her for being with him.

7 I am truly grateful to my healthy body. The reason is that it allows me to play and do the things I want to do without any restrictions.

8 I am grateful for the money I have right now. This is because it allows me to enjoy spending quality time with my children, parents, and friends.

9 I am grateful to my son’s girlfriend. The reason is that she makes my son feel wonderful.

10 I am grateful for my dog. The reason is that whenever I felt unstable, I was always healed by the dog’s warmth.

What a text book-like Day 1 (lol). But here and there, it gets surprisingly heavy/unsettling (lol). My feelings toward my son are so intense (lol). I’m even thanking my ex-husband more than necessary (and even his current wife, who has nothing to do with me!). “Whenever I felt unstable”- yep, I really was unstable back then. But that’s exactly why I started this gratitude practice, seriously seeking happiness and love. I’m going to write about the next two years from here on out- will you join me for the ride?lol
