①好きな食べ物を食べられることに感謝します。その理由は、心と体が元気になるからです。
②健康に感謝します。その理由は、毎日やりたいことがやれて、食べたいものが食べられるからです。
③セブチに感謝します。その理由は、娘と楽しい時を過ごさせてくれるからです。
④LUCYに感謝します。その理由は、娘と楽しい時間を過ごさせてくれるからです。
⑤会社の同僚に感謝します。その理由は、穏やかで楽しい関わりをさせてくれるからです。
⑥漫画、アニメに感謝します。その理由は、私に感動を与えてくれたり、人とのコミュニケーションのきっかけをくれたりするからです。
⑦KANちゃんに感謝します。その理由は、KANちゃんの音楽は、今でも癒しと感動をくれるからです。
⑧今日もお金に感謝します。その理由は、私の生活を支えてくれているからです。
⑨着物に感謝します。その理由は、触れたり見たりするとうっとりするし、母との楽しい共通の趣味になったからです。
⑩お日様に感謝します。洗濯物が乾くからです。
これぞ感謝ワーク。昨日は、これから起こるいろいろなことを知ってるから、穿った見方をしてしまったけれど、この時の私は、純粋に感謝ワークに取り組んでいる。下心は大いにあった。これを続けたら、幸せになれるんだね？そう思って、意地でもやろうと思っていた。下心といえば聞こえは悪いが、希望だ。感謝ワークは私の希望だった。

2 I am grateful for my health. The reason is that I can do what I want to do every day and eat what I want to eat.
3 I am grateful for Seventeen. The reason is that they let me spend enjoyable times with my daughter.
4 I am grateful for LUCY. The reason is that they let me spend enjoyable times with my daughter.
5 I am grateful to my coworkers at work. The reason is that they interact with me in a calm and pleasant way.
6 I am grateful for manga and anime. The reason is that they move my heart and give me opportunities to communicate with people.
7 I am grateful to KAN-chan. The reason is that KAN-chan’s music still brings me comfort and emotion even today.
8 I am grateful for money again today. The reason is that it supports my life.
9 I am grateful for kimono. The reason is that touching and looking at them makes me feel enchanted, and it has become a fun shared hobby with my mother.
10 I am grateful for the sun. The reason is that it dries my laundry.
This is true gratitude work. Yesterday, I looked at things with a twisted perspective because I knew various things that would happen in the future, but at this time, I was purely engaging in thought, “If I keep this up, I can be happy, right?” and I was determined to do it out of sheer stubbornness. Calling it an ulterior motive sounds bad, but it was hope. Gratitude work was my hope.
